John Leach

John has a background as an entrepreneur with a strong emphasis on sales, marketing and strategic planning.

John founded T&L Fine Food & Wine Ltd in 1978 and rapidly expanded the company into a national distribution business with depots in London , Leeds and Edinburgh. When he sold the business to a major plc in 1992 the company had sales of over £30 million.

Since then John has pursued various business interests including opening The Design House Restaurant in Halifax which, within 12 months, gained a Michelin Red M.

From 2001 to 2009 John was Area Director of BNI (Business Network International). During his eight year directorship he was regularly invited to speak to groups of business owners and managers both nationally and internationally, mainly on the subjects of networking and business growth.

In 2006 John became a partner in Mentor and now works closely with business owners, company directors and managers across the widest range of industry. By providing
an outside perspective he helps them deal effectively with key business issues, facilitate change, and improve performance
to help them achieve their business objectives and personal aspirations.
