Rick Armstrong

Rick has a background in advertising, management consultancy, training and marketing. For nearly two decades he lived and worked in the Middle East, in various roles with leading international firms and organisations.

Rick founded Mentor Group providing management and consultancy services to companies and organisations such as: Saudi Aramco Oil Co; Gulf Air; Reebok Middle East; IHG; Cessna Aircraft Co; ME Development Company; VCE and Emirates Airline. Rick also worked alongside various UK government agencies throughout the region.

When he returned from the Middle East, Rick acquired and created various business interests and for a time he was Chief Executive of a law firm with a special interest in anti-terrorism and covert policing.

Rick is founder of Mentor and of Fisher King Publishing and he is a director of IQ Property Investments. He is on the regional Director Team for BNI. He is also a business advisor to charities. He is an inspirational speaker presenting on topics such as motivation and leadership, networking, referral skills and presentation skills. Rick advises nationally and internationally mainly on the subject of business creation with particular emphasis on start-ups and SME’s. He is co-author of The Little Book of Positive thoughts and of The Little Book of Visualisation.
